Files

This article describes all the files LinguaSpace 2.0 consists of. The files can be divided into 3 categories:

• program files
• user profiles
• vocabularies

Program files

Program files are the .exe and .dll files with the software code and resources as well as some additional files e.g. .html help. All the program files live in the LinguaSpace home folder. This folder is usually C:\program files\LinguaSpace\2.0\. You can copy this folder anywhere you want. LinguaSpace is very liberal in terms of location and will not die because of this. Home folder contains: LinguaSpace.exe and several .dll files; Help folder contains this html help.

User Profiles

User Profiles are located in the LinguaSpace All Users Application Data folder "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\LinguaSpace\2.0\Profiles". You cannot move this folder in contrast to the program files folder. It is intentionally made strict to allow for easier upgrades of your LinguaSpace in future.

Vocabularies

Vocabularies are located in the LinguaSpace All Users Documents folder "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\LinguaSpace\2.0\Vocabularies\". You can move this folder to any place you wish. However it is not recommended because LinguaSpace will always look for vocabularies in this folder by default. It will also be easier for you to upgrade your software.
